Who we are

AI Founder Files (“we”, “us”) is operated by [legal name of the business, company number if applicable], of [registered address]. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@aifounderfiles.com.

What we collect

  • Newsletter subscribers: your email address, and the date and time you subscribed.
  • Emails you send us: your email address and whatever you tell us.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider ([Cloudflare / Netlify]) processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This site doesn’t currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. [Update this section if that changes.]

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To send you the weekly newsletter: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
  • To reply to your emails and handle correction requests: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To keep the site secure and running: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

We use [newsletter provider, e.g. Buttondown / Beehiiv] to store subscriber emails and send the newsletter, and [hosting provider] to host the site. They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We don’t sell your data. [Describe any international transfers and the safeguards used.]

How long we keep it

We keep your subscription details until you unsubscribe, then delete or anonymise them within [period]. [Add retention periods for emails and any other records.]

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To use these rights, email hello@aifounderfiles.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
